And I’m downloading it now..
Though I’m not a Fedora fan (I’ve had bad experiences with rpm), but I just want to try it out under Virtualbox to see how much has it changed since the last time I tried it. I never was a Fedora user though, and the last time I used Redhat was it’s 7.3 release.
This has put my 4Mbps Streamyx to the test, and man I was surprised!
** I’m downloading it from a Japan’s mirror

Leave a Commentelo, mat…
last week i was trying to run some open source programs (biasala, dah start research balik kan
), so nak x nak i had to boot in linux… huhu, dah lama tinggal.. terpaksa berbalik ke kekasih lama jg…
n sungguh menyakitkan hati coz i was still stuck with fedora core 3 yg u installed dulu (yes, laugh, silakan) n there was just plenty of things yg missing utk run the program that ioriginally needed, sehinggakan install satu benda kena install benda lain, and lain, and lain… terus jd mcm dari Kb nak ke KL tp kena lalu habis perlis-JB-gemas-u-know-where-else baru leh sampai KL tuh.
btw, i never upgraded it coz lps dah habis coding masa master terus tutup linux n write tesis back in windows (ampun coz i typed the word windows kat sini – it’s forbidden, i know). so really, padan muka aku
mengapa ler gatal nak wat research lg nih… i never learn from the past, do i? (SIGH)

I guess by now installing Linux would be a snap by your standard. Dah try latest Fedora, or Ubuntu?

I have installed fedora 10 into my amd 64X2 machine with nvidia 8400 gs display card. with Ubuntu 8.10 and mandriva 2009 had rebooting problems. Fedora installed and booted easily with one problem – i could not get connected to the internet. all the settings are the same just like in windows xp for internet connection but i don’t know why it is so difficult to get connected w’pun dah cuba berkali-kali…..
tq … any help?
