While reading the logs of people coming to my website, I found out that some came from Google, searching for how to add RSS feed icon to their blogspot blog. This is probably due to my previous post.
Though I've not been using blogspot as my blogging platform for quite a long time already, I'll just create a short howto here on to do just that.
From your blog's admin panel, go to Settings -> Template. From there click on the "Add a Page Element" link, and select "Text" from the selections.
On the editor that pops out, fill up the title, and for the content, click "Edit HTML" and add this lines to the text area:
<a href="http://yourblog.blogspot.com/rss.xml">
<img src="http://www.any-website.com/rss-icon.jpg" />Any text
</a>
You can change http://yourblog.blogspot.com/rss.xml to http://yourblog.blogspot.com/atom.xml, whichever that you prefer, and http://www.any-website.com/rss-icon.jpg is a URL to any RSS icon in the net that you prefer (or upload your own)
I hope this helps

You guys out there that post this crap should learn how to write. You are all writing to each other. You all already know what it is your talking about. I found you on google by searching how to rss on blogger. I have yet to find anyone explaining what it is and how to do it. You all just say it’s a really great thing to do and then tell us how to do it with a bunch of terms that, if we knew them, we wouldn’t be here. So, you say just do this and you will get a cute little rss icon on your blog. What good does an icon do that doesn’t do anything? Why would I do that? Start thinking from the viewpoint of those who would be asking the questions.

@Micheal
Why are you searching for “How to RSS on Blogger” if you don’t know what it is?
Try searching for RSS on Wikipedia and find out what it is first and see if it’s something that might be useful to your blog.

I know what an RSS feed is and I have a blogger site like you. I have no admin panel and when I click on settings it goes to my google account which is not helpful whatsoever. What is the secret for blogger.com?

Kevin,
If your blog is through google, go to blogger.com and log in your user name & password. Then click on “Dashboard.” Then select “Add a Gadget.” Then scroll down to “RSS Feed” and enter your address. Enjoy!

This information is entirely useless. Your first instruction is go to Settings. There is no such tab on the dashboard.
I am a new user of blogs and I’m incredibly frustrated. I’ve spent weeks trying to find out to what to do but all I get is know-it-alls talking to know-it-alls.
Can anybody help me? Please.
