zotero: Offline browsing made easy

Posted by as Information Insemination

I’ve come across this Firefox extension today, that I find it very useful and wish to share it with everybody :) I’ve been too excited with the extension that I started to go to some websites and saving them using Zotero just as i finished installing it.

From the website, "Zotero [zoh-TAIR-oh] is a free, easy-to-use Firefox extension to help you collect, manage, and cite your research sources. It lives right where you do your work — in the web browser itself". It seems to have a lot of use, but for now I’m happy that it solves my problem of file management for my saved websites. I’ve been waiting for Firefox to be able to save a page as .mht (or comparable) as in IE before, but this extension gives me more than what I need..

Only for Firefox 2.0 browser, the extension is downloadable from it’s official website,

nice extension, before this, due to ff unable to save webpages as .mht, i use the scrapbook extension [ https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/427/ ] which able to capture page.

but Zotero got that little nice taggie system, along with the capture function and ability to add notes. got to be my fav extension so far. tq!
